AI-native software engineering

Predictable engineering for product leaders

Get control over releases: a plan with dates and estimates in two weeks, delivery up to 4× faster, and a demo every week so nothing slips quietly. Scope changes only with your sign-off, and your roadmap stays the plan.

Keep control of the product . Hand over the engineering, not the decisions . You will know the date, see every release before it ships, and get the results instead of reasons.

The problem

Three ways a live product falls behind the business

Vendor or in-house, the engineering breaks in one of three places. Each ends the same way: with you explaining a date.

01

Every change takes months

The release promised to the board slips again, and the engineers build what the ticket says, not what the business needs. You hear about the date after it has passed.

Developers spend 17 of 41 working hours a week on tech debt and bad code (Stripe, 2018)

02

One number, and your name under it

You can’t tell what it covers, what it leaves out, what isn’t needed, or which trade-offs were never discussed. Procurement wants a signature; the decision carries your name for years.

Large IT projects run 45% over budget and deliver 56% less value than planned (McKinsey/Oxford)

03

The next version is approved. The plan isn’t.

The board has signed off the next version, often with AI. Nobody in-house has shipped one, the team is busy keeping the current product running, and code gets written without an architecture.

42% of companies abandoned most AI initiatives in 2025, up from 17% (S&P Global)

Each of these lands on you. You answer for a release you didn't control.

How we work

The technical half of your product, run by people you can name

Code is cheap now, AI-written or not. Architecture, release order and knowing what not to build are not. That's the part we take on.

A plan you can defend

Before any build, a Solution Architect reads the code, the proposal and the roadmap. Two weeks later you hold releases with dates and estimates, people and AI agents sized separately, and two or three team options with their trade-offs.

A named team that stays

The person who wrote the plan runs the team that delivers it. You meet everyone before the start, every role has a backup, and nobody is rotated without your consent.

Releases you can see

A demo every week and releases to plan, so a slip shows in week two, not month six. Every quarter the Solution Architect brings proposals: what moves the product next, where to apply AI, what to automate.

Your code, your accounts

Repositories, cloud and data stay in your name from day one. If you leave, nothing leaves with us.

If the audit finds nothing to cut or de-risk, it's free. If a Proof Sprint misses its date, the overrun is on us.

How it goes

Five steps. Start where you are. Stop whenever you want.

Nothing here commits you to the next step. Each one ends with a result in your hands and a decision that is yours.

Steps 2 and 3 are fixed-price and stand on their own. You decide on the next step after you see the result.

“I've had the opportunity to work with Volo and the CodeLions team during a time of uncertainty in Ukraine. However, I was very impressed to see their level of dedication to still deliver my product on time. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is what make them the right tech partner to take your project to another level. I'm totally recommending CodeLions to be your tech partner on your journey to building an incredible product”

What happens to your code and data

01

NDA first

We sign yours before you send the proposal, the repo or the data model.

02

Your accounts, your keys

We work inside your repositories and cloud, with access you grant and can revoke.

03

Your review, our answers

We fill in your vendor-risk questionnaire and go through GDPR and data-residency questions before the first sprint.

04

Clean exit

Access is removed, documentation is handed over, and nothing stays with us. The exit is written into the contract.

FAQ

Before the first call

We have our own product owner and a CTO. Why bring you in?

You don't hand over anything. Your product owner stays the owner of the product; your CTO keeps architecture authority and the final say, and can challenge the audit line by line before anything else is signed. We bring the technical vision and deliver it.

Another vendor, more promises?

Start with the audit. The document is yours whatever you decide, even if you use it to renegotiate with your current vendor. After that, the first sprints show what a team is after: results for the business, or more billable hours.

We'll just get more quotes. One is half the price.

Do, and bring the audit: quotes price the same assumptions; the audit questions them, so the quotes become comparable. Half the price is usually half the scope. Put the cheap one next to the depth we quote; if it holds up, sign it.

Do you write code with AI, and can we trust it?

Yes, with tools agreed under your rules. A named senior engineer reviews and tests every change before it ships; that review is the product. AI writes the code faster. It doesn't answer for it. We do.

What if you're not the right answer for us?

We say so. If a smaller build, your current vendor or no build at all is the better answer, the audit says that, and the document is yours to use either way.

Will the team change after the audit?

No. The Solution Architect who wrote the plan runs the named team through to release, with no handover that loses context. People are rotated only with your consent.

We have our own PO, we don't hand over ownership.

You don't need to. You stay the owner of the product; CodeLions brings the technical vision and delivers it.

Our CTO is against outsourcing.

Most CTOs are, for good reason: hours sold and people who rotate. Here the CTO keeps architecture authority and the final say, meets the named team before the start and sees a demo every week. The audit is a document he can challenge line by line before anything else is signed.

Tell us where the product is. We'll tell you which step fits.
